Edgar, 1995

This unpublished report was included with Helene Edgar's 515(i) submission to FDA, and was dismissed as "only suggestive" of permanent hair removal.

Ms. Edgar compared plucking with electric tweezing by the Helene Edgar electric tweezer with electric tweezing by the Guaranty Hair Removal System. After 8 to 12 weeks of treatment on seven women, subjects were observed immediately following final treatment. There is no reported follow-up. Ms. Edgar claimed to observe 75% to 90% hair removal.
